Job Title: Developer Advocate (Remote, Full-time/Part-time)

About KubeSphere: KubeSphere is a leading open-source container platform that simplifies Kubernetes and cloud-native operations. We are expanding our team in India and looking for a passionate Developer Advocate to promote our latest innovative LuBan architecture.

Job Description: As a Developer Advocate at KubeSphere, your primary role will be to enhance our brand presence and boost user engagement through effective content marketing strategies. You will be the bridge between KubeSphere and the broader developer community, helping to spread the word about our new LuBan architecture and driving its adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality technical content, including blogs, tutorials, webinars, and videos that articulate the value of KubeSphere and its LuBan architecture.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the developer community through social media, forums, and events to foster a positive image of KubeSphere and gather valuable feedback.
  • Advocacy: Represent KubeSphere at online/offline technical conferences, meetups, and other events. Present talks and sessions that highlight the benefits of using LuBan within KubeSphere.
  • Feedback Loop: Serve as a liaison between the community and our product teams, relaying feedback and insights that can guide future product enhancements.
  • Technical Support: Provide occasional support to users and developers, helping them overcome challenges in implementing KubeSphere and LuBan.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in software development, preferably with exposure to cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong foundation in Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to produce engaging, accurate, and persuasive content.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a technical advocacy or technical community management role.
  • Experience in video production and public speaking.
  • Familiarity with other cloud-native projects and products.
